Yes At the moment when you make the first lap during qualifying or race then you have LAP TIME attached to your car all the time. This is annoying. Sometimes you hide other cars with the time or even hide a corner. So I suggest these options and user can tick his preferred option: 1. Time shown next...

This was my suggestion. There are technically 2 suggestions here. One is a bug; currently holding R resets you to the left-hand side of a checkpoint. In certain scenarios, this leads to the car resetting on an object or worse. I think the car should be reset to the middle of the checkpoint to ensure...
